    Isn’t this just another ploy to get us to buy more creams and potions? Good message for kids, but I’m suspicious. By showing us how politically correct they are, they are still asking us to dig into our pockets and buy products.

    Women have known how exploited they are for years, and this is just another depressing show of ‘what I could have done if I hadn’t decided to stay home for the sake of the kids.’ Well, we have to suck it up. We don’t make that kind of money and there’s a reason for it—mothering is more important than money.

    Finally, a major company that is not trying to create a generation of starved, scared, body-obsessed girls! I am throwing away all my cosmetics and buying Dove from now on. My daughter and I have always talked about body image and I have always been astounded at the poison that seeps in from media messages. At last, a refreshing change.

    I wouldn’t allow my children to play those video games at home and certainly not at church. What are the pastors thinking? If you attract children to something bad in order to teach a lesson about how bad it is, you risk having them think it’s really good.
