(You are excused at work of course). If she wants to connect with friends, she can use the landline in your house; if she needs the computer for homework, that’s all she uses it for. During the week, have periodic conversations about the way it was before you had all these modern conveniences, and try to figure out what you did to function during “the middle ages.” At the end of the week, have a family meeting about how it went. And then, return to your equipment slowly. In addition, in future, don’t jump to buy her the newest gadget – let her earn it with an allowance.
