Question:
I just found out my son 16 years of age is having sex , I found rubbers and he admitted to it. Now what? How do I handle the situation,, do I tell her parents about this or what? Thanks ValerieAnswer:

First of all, you should commend your son for being responsible (using condoms) and for telling you the truth. Perhaps you should sit down with your son and ask him if his girlfriend has spoken to her parents about their relationship. It's not really up to you to talk to your son's girlfriend's parents, but you can encourage your son to talk to his girlfriend about the importance of being honest with parents. That being said, if you son is being safe, respectful, and the relationship is one that you are happy with, there is really no need to get more involved - unless your son asks for help.
