Web sites
Two major Web sites, www.tutor.com and www.brainfuse.com, offer tutoring and study help. They are available at thousands of libraries across the United States. Libraries pay for the service so that kids can use the Web sites for free. Outside of the library, a student can use his library card as a password to log on from home. The Web sites are designed to offer help, but not give answers to questions.
TutorVista lets parents outsource their homework help to India for $49.99 a month. All Internet tutors have graduate degrees.
